Once your backup has successfully completed, you can restore your website files or database directly from the Sucuri Backups dashboard.
Warning: Ensure you don’t require any data from your site’s current state before proceeding with a restore. Restoration permanently replaces existing data with the backup version, and this process cannot be reversed.
- Sign in to your Sucuri Account.
- Locate the Backups column and click the icon for the website you wish to restore.
- Use the calendar to select your preferred backup date, then click Restore Backup. When multiple backups exist for the same day, choose the specific backup from the dropdown menu.
- Check one or both options: Restore files and Restore database.
- Click Continue.
A confirmation message will appear once your site has been successfully restored. If the restoration encounters an error, submit a support ticket for assistance.
Note: Following restoration, clear your browser cache, hosting server cache, and firewall cache to ensure the restored content displays correctly on your website.
