Restore My Site Using Sucuri Backups

Once your backup has successfully completed, you can restore your website files or database directly from the Sucuri Backups dashboard.

Warning: Ensure you don’t require any data from your site’s current state before proceeding with a restore. Restoration permanently replaces existing data with the backup version, and this process cannot be reversed.

  1. Sign in to your Sucuri Account.
  2. Locate the Backups column and click the icon for the website you wish to restore.
  3. Use the calendar to select your preferred backup date, then click Restore Backup. When multiple backups exist for the same day, choose the specific backup from the dropdown menu.
  4. Check one or both options: Restore files and Restore database.
  5. Click Continue.

A confirmation message will appear once your site has been successfully restored. If the restoration encounters an error, submit a support ticket for assistance.

Note: Following restoration, clear your browser cache, hosting server cache, and firewall cache to ensure the restored content displays correctly on your website.
