We partnered with Let’s Encrypt to provide HTTPS support to all plans. Users on Professional or Business plans can also use custom (EV, Wildcard, etc.) certificates
in addition to the Let’s Encrypt one.
If you intend to use the Let’s Encrypt certificate, all you have to do is follow the steps to activate the domain to point to our Firewall and the SSL certificate will be created automatically.
On the another hand, in case you want to use your own certificate and you are on the Professional or Business plan, follow these steps:
1) Click here to go to the Firewall HTTPS/SSL settings.
2) Click on Replace Certificate to open the "Private Key" and "SSL Certificate" boxes:
3) Paste your SSL certificate and private key in the corresponding boxes and click on Save.
The certificate is not instantly enabled, as it can take up to 15 minutes to get fully activated.
If you don’t know how to find the SSL certificate and private key, please contact your hosting provider so they can provide such information. Usually, for cPanel users, they are saved in the "SSL/TLS" item (Security box) -> Certificates (CRT) AND Private Keys (KEY) options. You can also find them using the "File Manager" item (Files box), under "ssl" folder of the left list menu.
