If you try to allow an IP address and receive an “IP is not valid” message, please find the possible reasons below.
The IP address you are trying to allow is either a local IP address (10.0.0.0/8, 172.16.0.0/12 or 192.168.0.0/16) OR was typed incorrectly.
You can only allow public IPv4 or IPv6 addresses.
You can obtain your public IP address by visiting websites such as these: ifconfig.me and ipecho.net.
