In order for us to clean your site, we need SFTP, FTP, or SSH access to your hosting account.
By providing this, we are able to evaluate and scan every file on your site. This information can be found in cPanel or in your hosting company’s dashboard. Since each hosting company has their own steps for creating FTP access, we’ve put together a list of some of the most popular hosts with links to their guides.
- Bluehost
- Cloudways
- cPanel
- DigitalOcean
- Dreamhost
- GoDaddy
- HostGator
- Hostinger
- InMotion Hosting
- Kinsta
- Rackspace
- SiteGround
- WP Engine
Please test the credentials prior to submitting a malware removal request to ensure you are able to connect and your files are accessible. Doing so will speed up the cleanup process.
Note: To clean, we will need both read and write access on the FTP user account.
If required, please allowlist the following support IP addresses on the hosting server so we are able to connect:

50.116.41.217
192.155.90.179
